The Townehouse’s booker, promoter, bar manager, creator of this website. Paul started playing at the Townehouse in 1992 with the punk band, Bleak!! and has been a house musician since about 1995. He generally will take one acoustic night per month and sometimes with The Havocs or Life Blown Open. Grew up in Sarnia. Didn’t pick up a music instrument until 19 years old. Wound up in Sudbury for school, has a degree in Sociology. Married to a Sudbury girl. Volunteer for CKLU Radio since 1989. Loves to collect music- has about 4000 albums at home. Booking the Northern Lights Festival Boreal since the fall of 1999, and is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors of NLFB and still the Artistic Director. Plays guitar, bass and organ and can also accompany most on Harmonica, Banjo and Mandolin. Is a current Board Member of the Ontario Council of Folk Festivals. Consults on music industry workshops, is an occasional panelist on discussions of music industry.
